A Brush for the Lead [New York Flyers on the Snow], 1867. (G. 0795). Large format lithograph with hand coloring heightened in gum arabic, on wove paper, 550 x 794 mm sheet. Subtitle in lower margin trimmed away, small loss to lower left corner repaired verso, some minor mostly marginal soiling, very light staining verso, tiny pencil annotation in lower corner. VERY RARE: According to online records, only one example of this print has sold at auction in the last 60 years.
