A fair copy of a translation of Thomas Gray's "Latin Ode on the Monastery of the Grande Chartreuse," first published unattributed in The London Magazine, Vol. I, January-April 1825, p. 367.  The translation was later published in The Works of Charles and Mary Lamb, New York, G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1903, p. 382, with a note from the editor that the translation work is "not certain to be Lamb's, but probably his."
