MEIJI PERIOD, LATE 19TH CENTURY
each slender vase with rounded shoulders, tapering to a raised, circular foot ring, the exterior inlaid in copper, silver and gold, one vase showing a quail in flight amongst flowering plants, the other quail standing amongst floral blossoms.
