11 3/8 x 9 1/8 inches, 44pp. Color plates and illustrations. Original pictorial wrappers (very minor soiling). FIRST EDITION, SIGNED BY CHAGALL. Published on the occasion of an exhibition of twenty-eight gouaches by Marc Chagall, executed from 1957 to 1968 and shown at the Pierre Matisse Gallery in New York, in April 1968. Printed on grand vélin d'arches on the presses of Daniel Jacomet.
