Merriam/ Governor of Minnesota/ From/ The Members of/ His Official Family/ December 25th, 1892, the opposite side of the bowl with the engraved inscription Drink Down all Unkindness/ Why Should Every Creature Drink/ But I./ Be Merry if You are Wise.
