SIGNED ZHANG ZHITANG (1893-1971), DATED WUZI YEAR (CORRESPONDING TO 1948)

the rectangular porcelain plaque painted to the front showing two horses in a riverscape scene, signed Zhang Zhitang, followed by an artists seal, set in a hongmu frame and stand carved with a panel showing an equestrian scene, above shaped aprons joining the four feet flanked by standing spandrels pierced and carved with sinuous kuilongs.
