癸丑(1909)年 葉仲三作水晶內畫聊齋人物鼻煙壺
decorated on each side with a scene from the Chinese classic Liaozhai zhiyi (Strange Tales Recorded by the Studio of Idle Talk), signed Ye Zhongsan, followed by an artist's seal, dated the fourth month of the lunar calendar in gui chou year (corresponding to year 1909), with a rose quartz stopper.
