the first a long informal example embroidered with fruiting peach trees against a black satin ground, bordered by applied and gilt borders of brocade and further embroidery, lined in magenta crepe. The second with couched gilt peacock rank badges on a plain black and gold ground, finely embroidered with fierce dragons, birds and flowers above a lishui border.
