GUANGXU PERIOD (1875-1908)
清光緒 1878年作紅地刺繡仙人祝壽掛帳
of crimson satin ground with borders of various immortals, dragons, phoenix, and flowers embroidered in silk and couched with gilt wrapped threads surrounding a central inscription celebrating the birthday of Mr. Liang's mother dated to the third year of the Guangxu period corresponding to 1878, mounted on busk linen, with two hanging pendants suspended from a wooden mount.
