A Blue and White and Yellow Enameled Porcelain 'Dragon' Bowl
KANGXI PERIOD (1654-1722)

清康熙 藍地黃釉雲龍戲珠紋盌
the rounded walls rising to a slightly flared mouth rim, the exterior decorated with two striding dragons chasing flaming pearls of wisdom amongst clouds, the interior with a central medallion enclosing a sinuous dragon, all picked out on an underglaze blue ground, the underside bearing a Kangxi six-character mark in underglaze blue and of the period. 
Height 2 5/8 x diameter 5 7/8 in., 6.5 x 14.9 cm.
