included is a photograph of the weaver, A-Son-Bahe, and her child, at the loom with this textile; and a handwritten note dated July 4, 1927 from the trader at Bitter Weed Water Trading Post:

Not able to see you. I am mailing you the following information you wish. / The Indian woman's name is A-Son-Bahe, lives at Chil Chin Beto, Ariz. Age 38. / Started to weave run in Aug - 1926. Finished March - 1927. / By Joe Golino, Bitter Weed Water Trading Post, Kayenta, Ariz. (over)
The word Chil-Chin-Beto is Bitter-Weed-Water. I have been in town for 3 days been trying to see you. / I have not been at the store for 3 weeks, and I am unable to tell you if the woman has started the other rug. / With regards, Joe Golino
