These shoes were made by Margaret Ellen Wright (1881-1966), the sister of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. 

Black felted wool flats trimmed in black gross-grain ribbon, and embellished with silver and gold metallic thread braid, multi-shaped cut glass rhinestones on the toes, lined in felt, and leather soles.
