A Chinese Grey and Black Jade Figural Group of Double Rams
17TH/18TH CENTURY
each ram depicted in a recumbent posture with head turned backwards, and grasping a lingzhi stalk in its mouth, raised on a fitted hardwood stand, the stone of greyish-black color with natural russet inclusions.
Length 3 1/4 x height 1 1/2 in., 8 x 4 cm.
