EDISON, Thomas (1847-1931). Printed check signed ("Thos. A. Edison"), as President of the Edison Botanic Research Corporation, 6 December 1928. Drawn on the Savings Investment & Trust Co., East Orange New Jersey, for $80.00 payable to Barukh Jonas.
1 page, oblong 12mo, perforated cancel stamp, rubber-stamped, short tear along fold. The Edison Botanical Corporation spearheaded the search for a domestic source of rubber; Barukh Jonas was one of the assistance who worked with Edison on the project.
