Two Geoffrey Beene Dresses, Fall 1990


A duplicate of the dress on the right was donated by Geoffrey Beene to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 2001. The accession number for that dress is 2001.393.98

The First: Black halter evening dress with black wool jersey bodice, black
point d’esprit waist inserts and full skirt with black pompons on skirt and horsehair hem.
