Three Geoffrey Beene Ensembles, 1988


A duplicate of the ensemble on the left was donated by Geoffrey Beene to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 2001. The accession number to that dress is 2001.393.77a, b. 

The ensemble on the right features in a photograph by Jack Deutsch on page 175 of the 2005 book 'Beene by Beene. 

The First: Multi-patterned dress and vest with flora emboridery on vest front.
