the larger having straight walls, painted to the exterior with shou characters and precious objects amongst white lotus scrolls, all reserved on a blue ground, the smaller of with rounded walls and a conforming lid, decorated similarly with lotus scrolls of clear blue against darker ground, finished with a lion-form finial.
