Lot Description
Four Bill Blass and Maurice Retner Ensembles, 1960s-70s
Sold to benefit the Art Acquisition Fund at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfield.
The first is a three-piece day dress of cream silk printed with dots and flowers. The dress has a wide scoop neckline, batwing sleeves and a rust-colored skirt with the same print as the blouse. Dress has a red belt with self-fabric covered buttons. Quilted jacket of the same material as the top of the dress and closes down the center front with glass buttons.
