Lot Description

Two Halston Day Ensembles, 1970s
Sold to benefit the Art Acquisition Fund at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfield.


One red silk crepe de chine dress printed with white dots around shoulders and fading into the skirt. The scarf/belt is made of the same material. The dress has a scopp neckline, long sleeves and a straight body.

Second item is a two-piece ensemble of grey knit wool. The top is made with a fold-down collar, center front vent and long sleeves cut in one with the body of the dress. The skirt is a-line gathered into the waistband, hip pockets and a side zip.
