Lot Description

Dress, bag, necklace and earrings, 1989.  Dress designed by Paul Zastupnevitch, made by Western Costume Company in Los Angeles.
Worn by Olivia de Havilland for the 15th People’s Choice Awards on March 12, 1989 to accept the People’s Choice Award for “Gone With the Wind” as the favorite film of all time.


Rose silk crepe dress made of multiple layers of the same material with a wide, sweeping hem and a single, see-through layer for the sleeves. Rose fabric roses are sewn to the left neckline. The dress closes down the center back. The bag is finished with the same material as the dress and is with a single flap and chain strap. A silvertone, rhinestone and faux pearl necklace and earrings are included with this ensemble.
