Lot Description
Dress, Earrings and Bag, 1987. Dress designed by Paul Zastupnevitch and made by Western Costume Company in Los Angeles
Worn by Olivia de Havilland at the Golden Globes Awards in 1987 to accept a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Mini Series or Motion Picture made for TV for her role in ‘Anastasia: The Mystery of Anna’.
Purple silk crepe dress made of multiple layers of the same material with a wide, sweeping hem and a single, see-through layer for the sleeves. The draped fabric is gathered onto the left shoulder and finished with purple satin flowers. The dress closes down the center back. The bag is made of a purple and black floral weave with a goldtone chain. The earclips are goldtone and faux pearl.
The dress and bag are unlabelled. The earrings are stamped: Miriam Haskell
