A Sweet Briar Parcel-Gilt and Ebonized Armchair
The shaped crest centered by the Sweet Briar Coat of Arms and the date 1901, over parcel-gilt and ebonized spindles, the saddle seat raised on bamboo-turned legs joined by stretchers; the reverse with brass plaque inscribed 'Margaret (Peggy) Sheffield Martin '48 Director 1980-1992 Sweet Briar College'.
