Christian Lacroix Dress, 1990s
Strapless dress with a bodice made of layers of sheer black fabric and embroidered black lace. The long black taffeta skirt is embroidered with black ribbon in a floral pattern. The skirt attaches to the bodice with a black band of embroidered fabric and lace. An inner boned bodice is connected to a long petticoat of black crinoline. The dress closes down the center back with two layers of zips: one on the inner layer and one on the exterior.
