ADELAIDE MELBOURNE. LAUNCESTON & HOBART. Steelmaker mark to both barrels below handguard reads FLUSSSTAHL KRUPP ESSEN. The interior of the forend is struck PATENT/EJECTOR with a further REG/TRADE MARK stamp. Forend engraving matches the shotgun, and mounts a horn tip. No serial number to forend. Triggerguard and barrels most likely refinished. Rear sight bead has broken off leaving socket behind with the front still intact.
