Receiver shows the cursive script ce marking indicating it was made by J.P. Sauer und Sohn, followed by a date of 1942. Item shows the WWII German Eagle view mark on the left barrel and left receiver, along with two {Eagle/37} waffenamt marks on the barrel, one to the top of the receiver, and {Eagle/359} mark to right receiver. The replaced stock is non numbered on the butt, and mounts a non numbered bright buttplate. Serial numbers match on bolt components, receiver, barrel, magazine floorplate, trigger plate, barrel band, and sight components. Metal markings are worn, indicating refinish. {C&R}
