The photos document soldiers, locals, weaponry, aircraft, aftermath of battles, casualties, landmarks, and landscapes. Many appear to have been previously removed from photo album based on the tape and album residue on versos. Most photographs measure approx. 3 1/2 x 5 in. or smaller.

Also enclosed are 2 sets of German stereocards documenting the invasion of Poland and Veteran's Day activities in Germany, each with imprint of "Raumbild-Verlag Otto Schonstein, Munchen," on verso and printed caption, accompanied by 3 pairs of Raumbild-Verlag stereoviewers.
