Single action six-shot percussion revolver with folding loading lever and showing some traces of silver tarnish to gripstraps. Left frame is marked COLTS/PATENT with top of the octagonal barrel exhibiting a two-line address reading ADDRESS SAML COLT/HARTFORD. CT. Cylinder additionally struck COLTS PATENT followed by the serial number. Cylinder shows traces of Ormsby's Stagecoach Hold-Up scene. Loading lever has been brass brazed together, and the serial number on the barrel is obliterated. Numbers match on the frame, gripstraps, and cylinder. No visible number on arbor pin. Wedge pin and screw are modern replacements. No visible martial inspection marks. {ANTIQUE}
