Lockplate is marked {Eaglehead}/A.H. WATERS & Co./MILBURY MASS/1844 followed by T initial. Item shows H initials to backstrap, serpentine, and barrel band. Counterpane shows circled JH mark of Joseph Hannis, WAT mark for William Anderson Thornton, and the initials R.H.W., which appear to have been scratched in by a previous owner. Screw for ramrod swivel has been replaced with a roughly cut modern example. {ANTIQUE}
