A SCARCE "UPLIFT" POSTER.

Portraits of Booker T. Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Frederic Douglass are surrounded by small vignettes representing significant landmarks or moments from each of their lives, including the house where Washington was born, a general view of Tuskegee Institute, Douglass learning to read, the house where Lincoln was born, and views of the Tuskegee machine shop, laboratory, and drawing room. Four text panels are included in both margins, containing biographical notes on each of the men as well as the Tuskegee Institute.
