COCTEAU, Jean. Thomas l'imposteur. Paris, 1927. Etched headpiece and plates (one colored). Emerald crushed levant, covers with abstract dotted pattern in gilt, silver, and black calf onlay, spine and emerald and black levant doublures similarly decorated, black watered silk endpapers, marbled flyleaves, signed by Léotard 1929. LIMITED EDITION, number 103 of 320 copies on papier vélin pur fil teinté Lafiima, of a total edition of 373. -- BOISSIERE, Jules. Fumeurs d'opium. Paris, 1926. Color-printed etched frontispiece, etched plates by Henri Le Riche. Brown crushed levant, covers with abstract stipple pattern in gilt, silver, and black, with brown morocco and tan calf onlays, spine and tan calf doublures similarly decorated, brown watered silk endleaves, marbled flyleaves, signed by Léotard 1930. LIMITED EDITION, number 126 of 130 numbered copies with an extra suite of the plates printed in sanguine with remarques, of a total edition of 152. -- Together 2 works, 4to, original slipcases, condition generally good with only minor scuffs or sunning.
