FIRST EDITION, sometimes also attributed to Abel Boyer. Bladen's regiment was deployed to Spain, Gibraltar and Portugual in service to Marlborough during the War of Spanish Succession. He was the Earl of Galway's aide-de-camp and was appointed Colonel in 1709. ESTC T117614.
