The 1935 campaign marked Ruth's final season in the Big League's and the autographs he signed this day are undoubtedly as memorable as this original photograph that captured the moment. Despite not wearing his iconic Yankee pinstripes, the Bambino remained popular with fans as captured in this impressive April 9, 1935 news photograph. A clipping from the original Chicago Tribune publication  is attached to the reverse with a caption reading "Newark boys gang on Babe Ruth for autographs during an exhibition game between the Boston Braves and the Newark International league club.
