A Federal Inlaid Mahogany Tall Case Clock
Works by Elnathan Taber (1786-1854), Roxbury, Massachusetts, Circa 1800
of the domed hood with arched pediment, surmounted by fretwork and three wood uprights with brass ball-and-steeple finials, the case with molded door having inlaid quarter fans, quarter columns with brass inlaid stop fluting, on base with ogee feet, the enamel face decorated with tree and birds to arch and flowers to spandrels, inscribed, "Warranted By/ E. Taber".
Height 86 x width 19 3/4 x depth 10 1/2 inches.
