Attributed to John Elliott, Jr. (1739-1810), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Late 18th Century
verso with old label inscribed in ink, "Looking Glass--/ Belonged to Jonathan Evans of Phila (died 1795). Later owned by his son Jonathan Evans/ died 1839)./ Owned later by his son Wm. Evans who died 1867", also with other labels noting ownership and restoration history.
