Three Chinese Snuff Bottles, 19th-Early 20th Century
晚清民國 鼻煙壺三件
19th-Early 20th Century

The first is a cinnabar lacquer scabbard-form example, carved on both sides with taotie masks and pairs of confronting phoenixes, carved glass stopper; the second is a carved jet example, depicting prunus blossoms, molded coral glass stopper and the third is a carved walnut example, the neck mounted with a band of blue enameled silver leaf-form decoration.
Height of tallest including stopper 5 1/4 in., 13.33 cm.

Property from the Collection of Albert Combatalade, thence by descent.
