five albumen photographs, each approx. 7 1/4 x 5 1/4 in., on original 10 x 8 in. cardstock mount with imprint of Addis Gallery, Washington, DC in lower margin. Manuscript notations in different hands on mount recto and verso. Originally taken by Antonio Zeno Shindler, ca 1867-1868, and printed ca 1867-1869 when Shindler was the proprietor and photographer at the Addis gallery.

Subjects include: Ta-ka-o-no-pa, "The One Who Catches the Enemy" (Fleming, entry 7). -- Ma-ga-skan, "White Swan" (Fleming, entry 4). -- Si-ha-han-ska, "Longfoot" (Fleming, entry 12). -- Delaurier, "Half-breed" (Fleming, entry 16). -- Francis Jandron, "Half-breed" (Fleming, entry 13).
