A Tibetan Silvered Metal Mounted Hardstone Embellished Kapala Cup and Cover Height 11 1/2 inches.
19TH CENTURY
the skull cup mounted with silvered metal lining, surmounted by a domed cover elaborately cast with intricate designs of foliate scrolls, the border with hardstone insets, the knop rising from a double lotus pedestal and shaped as a half vajra, all raised on a tiered stand cast with similar foliate scrolls.
