Of flattened baluster form, the broad body is molded in low relief with a continuous scene of striding three-clawed dragons on either side, set amid scrolling auspicious lingzhi. The decoration is framed by a band of crashing waves at the foot and ruyi-shaped lappets at the shoulder, while the neck is similarly worked and fitted at the narrow sides with simple loop handles embellished with wanzi motifs. Covered overall in a slightly creamy white glaze with widely spaced crackle, the vessel rests on a rounded oval unglazed foot rim, the base glazed.
