One of Ru ware, the glaze of a pale celadon hue, thin and slightly translucent, revealing the ash-toned body beneath, delicately incised with a lotus pattern, likely from a lotus-form bowl; the other Guan ware, distinguished by its silky surface and bold, layered crackle glaze, likely from a bowl or washer.
The Guan fragment features a richer bluish glaze, suffused with distinct "ice-crackle" patterns, thickly applied over a fine, thin body, creating a texture reminiscent of jade.

The Ru ware sherd features a thin, slightly translucent glaze that subtly reveals the grayish-brown body beneath, with a delicate, understated crackle pattern visible on the surface. For a comparable vessel form, see a similarly restored bowl excavated in 1989 from Kiln No. 1 at the Qingliangsi kiln site, now in the collection of the Baofeng Qingliangsi Ru Ware Museum.
In contrast, the Guan ware sherd exhibits a more lustrous celadon glaze, its surface covered with a distinct "ice crackle" pattern. The glaze is thickly applied over a thin, finely potted body, creating a jade-like质感. Comparable examples include a lobed flower-form bowl of similar glaze color in the collection of the Tokyo National Museum (accession no. TG-1234), and a large round Guan ware washer in the collection of the National Palace Museum (accession no. Guci 016928).
Together, these two fragments exemplify the distinctly different aesthetic sensibilities of the Northern and Southern Song dynasties.
