The impressive pair of muscular seated dogs with flowing manes and stylized flamelike tails, one with single horn and closed mouth, the other open in the manner of Nio guardians, underside with cast four-character mark within a square to the underside, Yoshikawa Yasuyoshi 吉川安芳, rich dark brown patina.
Height of taller 25 1/2 in., 64.8 cm.
