The first, attributed to the Beijing Palace Workshops. 1750-1820. Of small squat octagonal form, with a flat base, tall cylindrical neck and wide mouth, the narrow sides faceted in octagonal shape, the main sides faceted in quadrants converging to a point, the material of rich turquoise hue.
The second, Imperial, Palace workshops. 1700-1780. Of small squat faceted octagonal form, with a wide mouth, flat lip and base, and tall cylindrical neck, the transparent emerald-green body with a raised oval panel on each main side, with four facets meeting at a center point, the narrow sides with rectangular facets.
Height of largest without stopper 1 3/8 in., 3.4 cm.
