Of flattened circular form, the shoulders sloping to a cylindrical neck, the lip flat, the flat foot enameled in black, carved in relief with a continuous scene, on one main side depicting a garden with a scholar reclining by a tea-table, his attendant fanning a stove; the reverse with a reclining scholar and his attendant, one narrow side with a large leafy plant, the other with a pine tree; all set against a geometric background with lingzhi borders at the neck and above the foot, the protruding foot encircled by a key-fret border.
