Three English Pierced Silver Mustard Pots and Two Silver Mustard Spoons
Various Makers, London, Sheffield, and Possibly Birmingham, Dates Ranging 1789-1857
comprising a mustard pot of tapered and octagonal form, by Charles Thomas Fox & George Fox, London, 1852, the lid engraved with monogram, "TJC", fitted with cobalt glass liner, marked; a round mustard pot with foliate base, by Thomas Bradbury & Sons, Sheffield, 1857, the lid engraved with floral and foliate motifs, fitted with a red glass liner, marked; and pot of hexagonal form, by maker "JT", possibly John Tongue of Birmingham, possible date mark of 1832, marked; fitted with a cobalt glass liner; and two mustard spoons, the first, by William Seaman, London, 1815, the handle end engraved with armorial crest in the form of a goat head within crown, marked; the second, by Charles Hougham, London, 1789, with bright-cut decoration, marked.
