Receiver marked U.S. RIFLE/CAL. 30M1/SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY followed by serial number 397242, indicating a manufacture date of 1941. Barrel marked S-A-11-41 with British proofmarks following. Operating rod is uncut and marked with SA. Top of bolt marked D28287-2SA. Left side of trigger group and face of hammer also bear SA marking. Walnut stock does not feature circle P stamp. Stock possibly lightly sanded. Oiler in stock. Item includes M1 Garand grenade launching device and inert Practice M31, along with pattern of 1907 sling mounted to rifle. {C&R}
