.38-40. 5.5" barrel. SN: 307613 (mfg. ca. 1908) Trace of blued finish transitioning to brown patina overall with staghorn grips, and further accompanied with Rampant Colt logo hard rubber grips and white synthetic Colt medallion grips. Single action six-shot loading gate revolver mounting front blade and topstrap rear notch sights. Left frame struck PAT. SEPT. 19 1871./JULY 2. 72. JAN. 19. 75. followed by circled {Rampant Colt} logo. Left barrel marked 38 W.C.F. with the top struck COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. {C&R}
