Engraved Smith & Wesson Model No. 1 3rd Issue Revolver with Mother of Pearl Grips
.22RF Short. 3.125" ribbed round barrel. SN: 137949 (mfg. ca. 1870). Nickel finish, mother of pear grips. Single action tip up barrel revolver with seven chambered fluted cylinder, stop spring notch rear sight and rounded front sight blade. One line Smith & Wesson barrel marking. Left grip pencil numbered to the gun. Frame and barrel finely engraved in a New York style with flowing Arabesque foliate scrolls and punch dot background shading. Includes an unrelated modern leather holster. {ANTIQUE}
