A Group of Fifteen French and English Profile Plaques
19th Century
comprising four jasperware examples, one by Wedgwood depicting Dr. Joseph Priestley and three others of unknown sitters, one bisque example depicting Alexander I of Russia signed 'Sevres / 8 Octobre / 1896' on the reverse, a plaster example of Princesse D'Orleans, a group of four framed together depicing Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette and two children, a hexagonal tile depicting Abraham Lincoln by the Allen Tiling Company, a framed pair of portraits depicting Louis XVII and the Duchesse d'Angouleme (daughter of Louis XVI), a composition bust of a gentleman and one of a maiden, and a pair of framed plaster examples depicting unknown sitters.
