Lot Description

Four South Staffordshire or Continental Enamel Plaques
18th Century

comprising a portrait miniature of an elegant lady in gilt pendant surround, presented in framed mount; a portrait miniature of a lady tasting wine, in silvered metal pendant surround; a large plaque, likely from a lidded box, depicting boaters in a seaside harbor, mounted in display frame; and a small plaque, apparently the lid from a box, the top depicting landscape with shepherd and shepherdess, and the underside with an oval reserve depicting a portrait of a lady.

5 3/8 x 8 1/2 inches (largest plaque), 10 1/4 x 13 3/8 inches (largest plaque, frame).
