[EXONUMIA] A Collection of Commemorative Medallions Relating to Henry IV of Navarre
comprising:
1) A bronze example by Phillippe Danfrie the Younger with a portrait bust of Henry IV on obverse, the reverse with a commemorative scene of Henry VI and Marie d'Medici holding hands and dated 1604 (drilled and plugged, 67.7 g/ 56mm).
2) A copper example with a portrait bust of Henri VI on obverse, the reverse with a crowned sword with flaking shield crests and laurel sprays, the border inscribed 'Victoria Yvriaca' (56.0g, 50mm).
3) A bronze example with a portrait bust of Henry IV on obverse, the reverse with a scene commemorating a military alliance (29.8 g, 48mm).
4) A gilt-metal example with a portrait bust of Henry IV in a hat on obverse, the reverse with two shield crest within a laurel border (49.4 g, 60 mm).
5) A silvered-metal example with a portrait bust of Henry IV on obverse, the reverse with a sword and crossing scepters with the motto
'Duo Protegit Unus' (19.0 g, 42mm).
