[EXONUMIA] A Dutch Silver Medallion Attributed to Jan Smeltzing (1656-1683) Commemorating the Imprisonment and Liberation of the Seven Bishops in the Tower of London by James II (81.2 g/ 60mm)
the obverse centered by a scene of the Tower of London surrounded by the motto 'Probis Honori Infamiaeque Malis" and surmounting an inscription of the archbishops who were imprisoned and the dates of their imprisonment and liberation, the reverse with the sun and moon in balance on scales surrounded by the motto 'Sic Sol Lunaque in Libra'.
